Easter was a quiet one for us this year. The thought of doing the ‘Sydney trip’ north with the rest of Canberra didn’t seem all that appealing and so instead, for the first time ever I think, we decided to stay home and relax over the long weekend.
On Easter Sunday we took a drive to Bowral – a little country town halfway from here to Sydney. I say little, but these days Bowral is a bustling mecca and home to some of the worlds most rich and famous – including the southern highlands hideaway of the Kidman family.
Anyway, I digress…
In Bowral we met up with my mum, dad and grandfather for lunch at the Royal Hotel. A lovely day in the country if ever we’d had one. The Bowral train station was the perfect spot for some nanny cuddles….
