BJ wasn’t the only one to have his photo taken at Burrinjuck Dam the weekend before last….
To be honest, I’ve never been very fond of the Australian landscape. RP and I call it “the Australiana” and together we often cringe at the sight of a eucalyptus tree or the long yellow (often dead) grassy plains as far as the eye can see. We long for the beauty of the deciduous trees so plentiful across Europe and North America.
However, since become reacquainted with my camera over the last few years, I have developed a new sense of appreciation for this place they call Australia. Add some yellow sunshine and the purple/blue hues of a setting sun and you have the recipe for a perfect portrait.
